As a resident, you have 24-hour access to the Warren Hospital Medical Library, adjacent to the hospital. The library has up-to-date reference books, medical and nursing texts, and more than 70 professional journals, including osteopathic journals. The library includes a private study room and individual study carrels.

The library’s personal computers are linked to several on-line data bases including “MD Consult” and the search engine, “PubMed.” Additionally, residents may borrow materials from libraries across the country through inter-library loan.

A professional librarian staffs the library 40 hours a week. All resources are easily accessible and can be utilized even when the librarian is not available. Residents can use the library FAX machine, copier and scanner at no charge. The Continuing Education and Library Committee, which includes staff physicians, residents and nurses, oversees the facility.
